The founder of the irreplaceable token collection "boring Ape Yacht Club" reached a settlement with one of the real estate developers who copied the token collection RR/BAYC.

On Feb. 6, Yuga Labs overcame a lawsuit involving Thomas Lehman, a real estate developer on the website, and a smart contract to sell new BAYC NFT products from digital artist Jingdong Rippes.

In January of this year, the company behind the blue chip collection filed a lawsuit against Lehman Brothers because she participated in the imitation monkey collection and provided service support.

Lehman Brothers helped Rippes and Jeremy Kahn develop, design and promote NFT on social platforms, according to the civil indictment. It claims that for these two collections, this is a "deliberate attempt to harm Yujia laboratory diligence on the premise of affecting customers and according to the spread of confusion".

In the settlement, YUGA Labs and Lehman reached a permanent ban on using any "confusing" BAYC images or operating social network accounts that imply that they are associated with the business, according to Law360.

"I have never been prepared to harm the YUGA Labs brand," Lehman Brothers said in a statement. "I reject all negative views about YUGA Labs and its founders and thank them for their many great contributions to the NFT industry."

A spokesman for YUGA told Law360 that the company was delighted that Lehman Brothers "acknowledged her role in infringing the YUGA Labs trademark in R & D, marketing and sales of counterfeit YUGA Labs trademarks in helping former collaborators East Rippes and Jeremy Strauss-Kahn."

However, separate cases of images from the BAYC collection of Ripps apps are still under way. Jeremy Strauss-Kahn also sued for copying and selling the same goods on the same software as Yua.

Lipps and Strauss-Kahn sued in June, and YUGA accused the two artists of "using the YUGA lab to defraud consumers" to buy his copycat show. The civil indictment also alleges that Ripps received more than $5 million under "transportation and countervailing false NFT".

On January 30th Lawson, a creditor law firm, strictly enforced that investors who bought Yua's BAYC NFT or its local token ApeCoin could add a class action against the company's securities.

In December, Rosen sued Yua Labs for violating U. S. securities law by fraudulent investors over economic gains with NFT and tokens and the use of celebrity salespeople.
