Web2 giants coming into Web3 could benefit ecosystem — PBW founder

Paris Blockchain Week founder Michael Amar believes large Web2 companies entering the Web3 space bring resources capable of increasing mass adoption.

Blockchain industry professionals annual gathering France Paris Block chain week (PBW) has already begun the fourth year, industry leaders and entrepreneurs from all over the country gathered to discuss the latest release trend and development trend of digital currency interior space.

In an exclusive interview with Cointelegraph, Michael Amar, founder and current president of Paris blockchain week, France, shared the initial corporate vision of the conference to make it famous on the map of Europe, because it turned out to be "everywhere on the blockchain world map".

PBW was founded in 2019 and its vision is to bring together professionals in the industry to promote the awareness and selection of blockchain. According to Amar, the purpose of the meeting is to promote the development of the entire market and explore topics such as supervision and in-depth technology.

Approaching 2023, the theme has already expanded to include Web3, irreplaceable dynamic passwords, illusory worlds and decentralized grass-roots autonomous organizations. Amar suggests that Web3 growth is good for blockchain because it promotes wider adoption of digital currency and is likely to open the door to other industries. She said in an interview with Cointelegraph:

Now we are open to well-known brands, we are talking about patents, we are talking about independent innovation, and we are talking about marketing. It is open to luxury brands, fashion brands, plastic arts, real estate and so many fields. Therefore, I think this Web3 fitness exercise is very good, because it finally created a large number of login passwords and block chain selection.

When talking about how the Internet giants are involved in determining ecosystems, Amar shares:

Web2 players and Internet giants are coming, so we are very pleased to have Google search, Amazon platform or SAP to participate in this theme event. In fact, she is sending their network resources and projects to outer space to complete Web3 for people.

Amar responded to concerns about whether the addition of Web2 and retail and consumer brands would undermine Web3's S decentralization. In his view, the centralization of power by these enterprises is worrying, but their resources, dedicated tools, platforms and project investments can be used to facilitate transformation and bring new governance in Web3 systems. While it is likely that these companies will never be completely decentralized, Amar feels that there is something meaningful that decentralization is a step forward.
