On September 26, 2018, Huobi broke down. A large number of users collectively expressed that the display of Huobi global mobile version and web version was abnormal, and accounts were frozen, assets were not displayed, currency orders could not be placed or withdrawn, and transactions could not be conducted. This is the second Huobi glitch this month. As early as September 12, a large number of Huobi users reported in the official channel that the Huobi APP had a network connection problem, unable to display data and causing losses.

Although Huobi's "downtime at the critical moment" has become a consensus in the industry, some users still have a sense of panic, and through various channels to contact the official personnel, seeking solutions.

Later, Huobi officials issued a statement: the fault was affected by the third-party Amazon cloud, and there was a communication delay during the service, which led to problems for some users.

Huobi's official announcement, however, did little to appease users. Some users think: Huobi frequent downtime, repeated offenses do not change, has not been trustworthy. Some users think: Huobi did not look directly at their own problems, but shirk the responsibility, casually dump the blame. There are also some users who have lost money because of the failure, and hope Huobi can make corresponding compensation.

Repeated mistakes, named "professional outage"

Huobi has been named by users as a professional outage because of frequent network failures.

For example, on March 20 this year, some users reported in Weibo and other channels that Huobi could not be withdrawn, the transaction could not be accounted for, and the assets were frozen after the operation. The network failure lasted for more than three hours before the transaction was slowly resumed. During the malfunction, a large number of users left comments on Huobi's official Weibo, demanding compensation.
