Sony Network Communications hopes the program will explore "how blockchain technology can solve various problems in their industry."
Sony Netcom, a division of Sony, partnered with multi-chain intelligent contract Internet Astar Network to launch the Web3 incubation program for projects dedicated to irreplaceable dynamic passwords (NFT) and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO).
According to a press release, the new Web3 incubation project will be run by Singapore's StartalLabs Institution, founded by Astar NetworkCEOSota Watanabe, and will officially operate from mid-late March to mid-June. Applications for this project will be processed gradually from February 17 to March 6.
People hired under the program will be divided into 10 to 15 groups, and course training will be given by global venture capital firms such as Dragonfly, Finch Capital and Alchemy Venture Capital.

The new Sony Netcom project aims to explore "how blockchain applications can solve problems in their industry," the press release added. The new project in the plan is also likely to be considered by Sony Netcom.
The incubation program is part of a continuing contract between Astar Network and the company looking to explore the technical application of Web3. Last month, Astar Network--, one of the first Paracchain to enter the Polkadot ecosystem, partnered with car giant Toyota Motor to hold Web3 hacker pine.
More comprehensively, Sony is also embracing Web3 technology, releasing a motion-tracking illusory world smart wearable device called Mocopi in November 2022.
