OpenAI co-founder’s ‘World ID’ project launches, along with SDK waitlist

The new IDs will allow users to prove they are unique humans without revealing personal information on websites.

Recently, data encryption Unicorn Global currency has launched a long waiting list of "World ID" program development kits (SDK), which can verify the uniqueness and intimacy of users without storing users' personal information.

According to the notice on WorldCoin's website on March 14, the company also launched World ID mobile phone software, which allows the last user to get his "World ID" immediately.

WorldCoin was created through the collaboration of Rob Ott Warriors, who is also the founder of OpenAI.

According to the announcement, World ID is a "worldwide data passport visa" that every user can keep locally on the phone. The ID will allow users to confirm that they are not robots, but do not have to log on to the website to give contact numbers or other identification information.

The ID is added to a data encryption "personal identification" that applies zero knowledge (ZK) direct evidence to hide the user's own identity database. This means that it allows users to verify their identity without revealing private information for authentication, it said.

Users can now get global ID without having to wait for the URL to implement the new specification.

The company believes that "from today, users and developers in most countries can use mobile phones to verify," and "Croatia, Chile, India, Australia, Portugal and Italy, as well as the tests in its blockchain and identity conferences can be verified by Rainbow."

WorldCoin also launched a long waiting list of software development kits (SDK) for this contract. When SDK is available, this will allow developers to integrate with World ID information systems and select intelligent robots from their applications.

A spokesman for WorldCoin told Cointelegraph that the company expects its agreement to help provide ID to millions of people around the world, even in areas where traditional ID is not available, he said:

Artificial intelligence technology is bringing new opportunities to all industries, and World ID aims to send proof of personality traits around the world to the Internet.

The spokesman stressed that more than 50 per cent of the world's urban population lacks verifiable legal identity, and WorldCoin is trying to solve the problem by choosing a decentralized approach based on privacy priorities.

The spokesman added: "the public beta version of World ID SDK makes Internet, mobile and chain integration more and more more and easier, and we are pleased to see developers from all over the country implementing development and design on this strong new foundation."

WorldCoin launched in October 2021, the novel free to read digital currency to get the Rainbow Scanner. According to WorldCoin, the number generated by the scanner can be associated with the user's identity, but there is no image of the scanner.

When the first global coin ATM was implemented in Bratislava, Slovakia, in December 2015, network operator Cryptodiggers.eu decided to give such coins along with BTC in the ATM.
