The digital currency fishing fraudsters behind some of the most high-profile and high-value Web3 thefts claimed to be already full of shops, saying it was "time to move to something better".

The fraudster, who goes by the pseudonym Monkey Dainer, posted on their message channel on March 1 that they "will shut down immediately" and that all "documents, web servers and devices" related to the drain will be "destroyed immediately" and "it will not be easy to go back".

The fraudster even brought suggestions to the prominent "young Internet criminals" that they should not "indulge in the pursuit of making money at home". Only a very small number of "most dedicated" professionals should run a "large-scale online fraud" organization.

Money Dainer even shared a "extreme" replacement service they once offered, called Venom Agent Dainer, and stressed that the service would be established the day before Monkey announced the news.

On March 1, blockchain security company PeckShield tweeted that on the last day, Monkey Dainer's wallet would be worth about $330000 from ETH into the login password mixing service Tornado Cash, in an attempt to cover his assets. There are 840 ETH, worth $1.4 million, still in their key wallets.

Blockchain security company CertiK also shared Monkey's information in a tweet on March 1, saying that the data encryption wallets they provided were full of special tools that allegedly received a 30 per cent "commission" from the theft of funds from other people's applications of the software.

The wallet depletion module from other suppliers has already copied this model, and CertiK stressed that since Monkey Dainer announced the shutdown, other dealers have already reported an increase in requirements.

It is understood that Money Dainer has been operating since the end of 2022, and according to statistics, it has stolen irreplaceable dynamic passwords worth up to $13 million in digital currency since then.

Other fake fishing attacks on fraudsters and a means of hollowing out wallets steal more. In 2022, 3.9 billion dollars worth of login passwords were dragged away by cyber hackers, frauds, frauds and blankets, according to a result of Immunefi, a reward service for vulnerabilities in Web3.

In January, Kevin Rose, founder of the Moon Bird NFT series, was attacked, which is probably one of the most high-profile and valuable wallet emptying thefts in recent years.

Rose's wallet was drained after he approved a deliberate signature on a fraudulent website to transfer his NFT worth more than $1.1 million to a cyber attack.
