Mississippi Senate passes bill to protect cryptocurrency miners from discrimination

The bill would legalize home digital asset mining and the operation of mining businesses in areas zoned for industrial use, and prohibit the Public Service Commission from imposing discriminatory electricity rates on mining businesses.

The foreign state of Mississippi is too close to protecting the power of digital currency miners, and the upper house of Mississippi passed the Mississippi digital assets mining law on February 8th. The state's House of Representatives has passed an ancillary facilities bill.

The House of Lords bill, drafted by state senator Josh Hodgins (Josh Harkins), legalizes the discovery of digital assets in the home and the operation of mining operations in areas where industrial production is the main use. Mississippi has already set up a password for miners to operate, and Mississippi's utilities are among the lowest in the country. However, the bill declares:

"Digital asset discovery is often tested by national and local controls."

In addition, the Act strictly prohibits the control of noise from mining in the home beyond the current limit and the explicit proposal for miners to exceed the rules of the locally applicable data center. or change the zoning of the mining center system without appropriate notification and prosecution opportunities.

It also forbids the federation of public cultural services, which regulates public utilities, from imposing differential treatment on mining companies and removes the influence of money transmitters from miners with family companies.

The bill further brings the legal definition of "digital currency" to the state.

Dennis Porter, CEO of Mississippi, one of the states where the CIIC Behavioral Stock Fund has been active, spoke at a meeting of the Mississippi House of Lords Finance Committee in January, where she mentioned the potential of access code miners to use orphaned oil and gas wells as electrical engineering.

Bills in both the House and Senate refer to orphan oil and gas wells. The House bill would create a state digital assets mining association that would consider the use of oil and gas wells as a mining power plant and any issues throughout the year. The House bill has been supported by the fundraising Association, but has not yet been debated in the House of Representatives.

The Mississippi law is very different from the three-year suspension of login password excavation in New York City, which was signed into law in November.
