Logan Paul backflips on defamation lawsuit against Coffeezilla, apologizes

Logan Paul has deleted his response video aimed at Coffeezilla and apologized in a surprising U-turn.

YouTuber Logan Paul deleted a video in which he threatened to sue Internet technology detective Stephen Burberry because she photographed a three-episode series that portrayed Paul's new CryptoZoo project as a "scam."

According to Coffezilla's original tweet on Jan. 6, Paul promised to abandon the threat of defamation charges against the video.

Findeisen shared a screenshot from the CryptoZoo Discord cloud server and showed a message from Paul confirming that he had deleted his initial response to the Coffeezilla video series and apologized. It says:

"this is also reckless and inconsistent with the trust issue at hand, so I called him today to apologize to him."

"this battle is not about coffee. In fact, I'm grateful to him for making it public. We will be responsible, apologize, and put forward a plan in the near future.

At the time of this writing, the video of Paul's response to the Coffeezilla allegations on Jan. 3 was gradually deleted from YouTube. Articles biased towards the video still exist, as did his first article published on December 23, which he said was "inconsistent with the facts".

On December 17th, Coffeezilla released the first episode of a three-episode video series, reprimanding CryptoZoo for many business service errors and Paul, the brand spokesman for the project, before the two YouTube officially had a war of words.

In a video of his response to Coffeezilla, Paul accused Coffeezilla of slander, adding: "see you at the trial."

Coffeezilla pointed out in his article that Paul has probably "made a third response", but Paul and Coffeezilla did not further indicate this at the time of writing.

Cointelegraph contacted Paul and Coffeezilla for comment, but did not receive a text message before the release.
