Flare AirDrop is one of the anticipated events in the field of digital currency in modern history. In this disappointing premise, a class action against Coinbase's access to the password exchange has long been filed.

Torch community boycott Coinbase?

Based on a civil complaint filed in the United States District Court, the appellant Boston Woody filed a class action against Coinbase, accusing it of failing to provide Songbird and Flare tokens to clients. It is reported that the login password trading center announced that it is allowed to distribute airdrop materials among XRP holders.

It mentioned that the complaint was filed independently and on behalf of all others similar to the flare airdrop. But the civil indictment also mentions the name of CoinbaseCEO Brian Armstrong. Despite its focus, the boycott is based on my knowledge and research on lawyers.

The appellant felt that there would be some direct evidence applicable to the charges against Coinbase and that such charges would apply later.

Earlier, Coingape reported that Ripple CTO named and criticized the whole process of Flare Network's airdrop.

Coinbase illegally converts FLR tokens into their own assets?

According to the filing documents, Coinbase will allow the purchase, marketing and escrow of XRP tokens from February 28, 2019. But because of the rise and usefulness of some new digital currency projects, they are trying to airdrop their login passwords to XRP holders, and FLARE Network is one of them.

FLARE Network decided to airdrop the FLR to the XRP holder because it was a snapshot update of the participating XRP digital currency wallet. Snapshot surgery appeared on December 12, 2020. And Coinbase announced that he had participated in the Flare AirDrop.

The appellant stated that Coinbase refused to issue SGB and FLR tokens, although they received them as FLARE Network. He further claimed that the defendant had illegally changed the assets of XRP holders. This act violates California's unfair competition law and commits several other types of tort liability.
