Israeli startup to create blockchain chips with $70M of fresh funds

The Israeli startup Chain Reaction raised $70 million in its pursuit of developing blockchain chips.

The selection of blockchain technology has increased, and most enterprises have studied this method scientifically to a certain extent. As blockchain becomes more and more popular, users of all categories will have to browse the effectiveness of the technology in the most efficient form.

One of the responses to this is to develop and design block chain chips as environmental protection and energy saving network accelerators. On February 23rd Chain Reaction, a blockchain start-up based in Tel Aviv, announced that it had raised $70 million to expand its elite team for developing and designing its next chip engineering project.

Gustavo Webman, co-founder and CEO of Chain Reaction, said that the new chip is undoubtedly a "thoroughly homomorphic encryption" chip that allows users to solve data on the premise of chip encryption.

Nowadays, if you have data (this kind of data) is encrypted to the cloud, in order to do any data actual operation or data analysis, to carry out artificial intelligence technology, you need to decipher the data.

He went on to show that for security reasons, governments and areas that can use cloud servers, such as the defense department, are restricted at this stage.

Once the data is deciphered, intentional users can attack it to load, steal and even change the data.

The encryption chip can also browse data in the case of encryption, which may be of some help. Webman said Chain Reaction aims to release such chips as early as the end of 2024 at the earliest.

According to Webman, Chain Reaction plans to gradually mass-produce its current blockchain chip Electrum in the first quarter of 2023. The chip is dedicated to simple and efficient hashing. It can also be used to discover encrypted loan coins.

In February 2022, software developer intel introduced another blockchain chip customized by Nvidia graphics cards to speed up the daily task of highly polluting blockchain, which requires a lot of computing.

NVIDIA also has a separate chip dedicated to ethernet mining.
