Students who want to work as internships at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) are lucky-the regulator has already applied for a free expert and scholar program in the fall of 2023.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has sought "student trainees" from its business services and law program, which has a base salary of between $15.09 and $28.83 at its Washington headquarters.

The minimum wage released by the business services program is less than Washington's current minimum wage of $16.10.

However, generally speaking, most companies in the United States do not have the legal right to pay interns' wages on the basis that labor relations meet the "key beneficiary norms" stipulated in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The SEC legal program also pays more, with advertising rates ranging from $23.47 to $35.27 an hour for both its regional office and the Washington City office.

The purpose of this program is that graduate students registered at this stage will participate in a 10-week apprenticeship, gradually from August 28 to November 3.

Based on recruitment positions, both programs are open to the public in other states of the United States and are used by regulators in regional offices in Florida, Colorado, California and Georgia.

As part of the management, interested people should choose the minimum wage level they can accept.

According to the article, SEC is looking for people to learn about blockchain, distributed ledger technology, electronic information science or information security technology-and many other research directions.

In May last year, SEC increased its Internet units by nearly 50 per cent. The department includes "encrypted assets" and "Internet" units, which ignore each department and guide the determination of where to take enforcement actions.

Those who are interested in learning and training must submit their applications before April 3.
