Hacker returns stolen funds to Tender.fi, gets $97K bounty reward

The bounty, which was offered via an on-chain message, was about $97,000, or 6% of the exploit amount.

The cyber hackers behind Tender.fi, a decentralized financial lending platform, have returned the stolen money to ETH with a $97000 reward.

The loophole was implemented at 10:28 UTC on March 7, and Tender.fi quickly verified it on Twitter because of "an unusually high total number of borrowings", adding that all borrowing had been stopped.

Blockchain data show that cyber attacks use common failures of price saints and raise money from the contract to use property worth $1.59 million, or about $71, according to a GMX dynamic password.

"it looks like your Oracle is misconfigured. Contact me to sort this out, the cyber hacker wrote in a message on a chain.

Eight hours later, the Defi agreement announced that it had reached an agreement with the "white hat" exploiters that cyber hackers would reduce the "reward" of 62.16 euros for all loans, which would be worth about $97000 at the current purchase price.

Another hour later, Tender.fi confirmed on Twitter that the exploiters had completed the repayment of the loan.

It wrote: "the stock fund announced that Safu was on its way to an autopsy."

Last August, Cross-chain Nomad Bridge issued a call to those who took part in an intelligent contract attack that stole 190 million dollars from nomadic road bridges in less than three hours.

Only a few hours later, about $32.6 million worth of money was returned, suggesting that some exploiters may be white-hat hackers trying to steal money for later security returns.

Later that month, Metagame, an irreplaceable token company, even brought in a "white hat prize" in the form of NFT, rewarding people who proved that he had repaid at least 90 per cent of the money he stole from the contract.

Block chain data from the recovery address of the Nomad Equity Fund on the official website show that since then, the money has been returned to the detailed address again, with a new transaction details on Feb. 18, with a covalent key to view the dynamic password (CQT) of $7868.
