GBBC Digital Finance joins international securities organization as an affiliate member

GBBC Digital Finance is now one of over 200 affiliated members of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, which also includes 35 national regulators.

GBBC Digital Finance announced on February 16th that it has added an international securities committee body (IOSCO) as an associate member. The global China Securities Regulatory Commission is an international association that formulates and promotes national securities standards.

The IOSCO membership consists of 35 national securities regulatory authorities and more than 200 subsidiary bodies. In addition, IOSCO has also set up a subsidiary member deliberative committee, which GBBC Digital Finance has added as the 70th member. The committee makes recommendations on the relevant policies and standards of IOSCO. The members of the Committee also constitute a working group to conduct annual training on securities-related issues.

IOSCO released the encrypted property Route Map in July. Oliver Wintermeier, current chairman of GBBC Digital Finance, said in a statement:

You will work with IOSCO to make it best for our members to participate in 2023 to provide all the support we can for IOSCO's two major encryption-property route map research groups-encryption and Digital currency (CDA) and decentralized Finance (DEFI).

IOSCO released a paper on DEFI in March describing several risks he saw in the technology. In July, IOSCO, in collaboration with the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), issued an opinion on the implementation of stable bonds.

The World blockchain Business Federation (GBBC) is a worldwide blockchain application ecosystem industry association focusing on cultural and educational diligence and maintaining presence at Davos. It joined forces with international digital finance in May 2022, and the latter is a research institute on market standards for choosing encrypted loan currencies and digital currencies to establish GBBC digital finance.

When put together, the new organization has 500 organization members and 178 ambassadors, and business processes spread across 95 jurisdictions. GBBC Digital FinanceCEOasri Joyce said in a statement on Feb. 16, "your first task in GDF in 2023 is to contact regulators and policy makers to jointly study how to build a DEFI education and communication platform."
