Beware of fake Arbitrum airdrops, community warns

The community has warned others to stay vigilant after reports of phishing websites and scams offering Arbitrum airdrop tokens.

Etherum Layer-2 Scaling Solution Arirum's upcoming "ARB" token airdrop seems to have become the most popular overall target for fraudsters, with the community warning that there are hundreds of phishing attacks aimed at deceiving data encryption users.

Airdrop materials will be announced in a post released by the Arirum Foundation on March 16. Airdrop materials will be representative of airdrop materials to push 10 billion regulation tokens, allowing holders to vote on code changes. The airdrop of materials is scheduled for March 23.

Unfortunately, this trend has resulted in several attempts by fraudsters to open fake tokens for airdrops prior to the platform activities, in an effort to steal the assets of the victims.

In a post on March 19th, blockchain security company REDEFINE said it had found a URL modelled on the official website Arirum AirDrop page. The screenshot shows that the site stipulates that users are allowed to browse his assets, which may cause fraudsters to empty their wallets.

CertiK, another blockchain security company, stressed that an unreal Arirum Twitter account-"Anitum_Launch"-advertised a token airdrop. It warns users that they don't have to interact so much.

In addition, Reddit user u/CryptoMaximist posted a post on March 19th warning that "fraudsters expect users who use the diversity of encryption algorithms and are satisfied with completely free money."

According to u/CryptoMaximist, they saw untrue Arirum Twitter personal information, including false Arirum URL links, and suggested that people check the user's profile and historical data before clicking on the shared link, and pay attention to whether he pushed spam links on many sub-Reddit.

Last week, Sniffer, a special anti-fraud tool for Web3, told its Twitter followers that more than 273 Arirum-related fraud sites have been detected since the release of token airdrops, and that number is expected to rise before the announcement of airdrops on March 23.

According to the Arirum Foundation, the foundation uses a points management system to determine who can receive tokens from airdropped materials and how many tokens they can receive.

Actions that meet the requirements include making more than four transactions or communicating with at least four blockchain smart contracts, converting funds to the Arirum One chain, and depositing more than $50, 000 in liquidity into Arirum.

Blockchain technology profiling company Nansen helped establish Arirum's requirements, which revealed that of the more than 2.3 million wallets transferred to the Arirum One chain by Feb. 6, only 625143 had the right to airdrop goods.

Organic chemistry theme activities have won positive (support and encourage individual behavior) or negative individual behavior (persuasion) results. In a tweet on March 16, Nathan explained that the amount of money received in the airdrop link is a functional formula for how many points it gets.
