Chatcasso won first prize in the BNB Chain hackathon for its AI-powered NFT creation tool.
Login password trading center Binance is accused of "publicly" plagiarizing the winner of the BNB chain to join Hackson after releasing a special tool based on AI's irreplaceable dynamic password (NFT). Binance stole a special tool developed by ChatCasso just a few months after it was suspected of giving them the first prize when the BNB chain joined the Hackathon competition in Seoul, South Korea on December 17-19, 2022.
On March 1st, BinanceCEO Zhao Changpeng unveiled Bicasso, an artificial intelligence technology (AI) product that can be used to transform your art creative business vision into NFT based on AI. However, ggoma, a member of the community group, felt that Binance copied and promoted the new ChatCasso project as its own project.
Binance, on the other hand, refutes plagiarism allegations. In an interview with Cointelegraph, a spokesman for Binance said that Bicasso is a pilot project created by a small elite team of Binance for testing, and NFT and AI are participants in many fields to study the concept.
ChatCasso won the first prize in the BNB chain hackathon for creating an artificial intelligence technology-supported tool to build NFT, winning $5000 in Binance (BU.S.).
However, Gogoma was surprised to see Binance launch similar channels within a month and said:
"does a big company like Binance borrow everything from its name? This is not only irresponsible, but also confusing consumers. Their names are too similar to tell them apart.
In addition, Gogoma also shared screenshots of the two new projects to show the similarities between the interface and structure.
Binance insists that this similarity does not amount to stealing ideas. A spokesman for the exchange told Cointelegraph:
Despite the similarities, after conducting the internal structure review, we firmly believe that Bicasso will design and develop separately more than two weeks before the BNB hackathon.
In addition, Binance and BNB Chain are operated separately, and the Binance software development team did not participate in the BNB Chain hackathon, the spokesman said.
Binance responded to Cointelegraph that the name Bicasso was inspired by the OpenAI special tool "Dall-E", referring to the artist Salvador Dali, adding, "our team likes this definition."
All this makes Goma sceptical about participating in hackathons in the future because she wants to know if market leaders will create innovative ideas again in the future. "I hope Binance is aware of the harm of their violations and take effective measures to correct his inaccuracies," Gogoma added, warning contractors at the same time that "some companies will try to take advantage of your hard work."
Binance's Bicasso quickly became popular among NFT investors, an artificial intelligence technology that powered the NFT generator set to record 10, 000 throat candies in less than 2. 5 hours.
CZ recently warned investors that a PS picture with an error report has been widely circulated on China's social platform Wechat.
