The biggest infrastructure provider in the world is targeting Web3 for growth.
Amazon Web Services, the cloud server of e-commerce mogul Amazon (AMZN), has hired talent to help expand its customer base in its Web3 space.
A detail posted on the LinkedIn website a week ago showed that the company was looking for a "high-end GTM authority expert, Web3" to take on more and more Web3 workloads on AWS in the "Web3 go-to-Market (GTM) elite team".
According to the AWS website, AWS has created professionally built tools for blockchain companies that look forward to operating "a central ledger database system that maintains transaction details that can be verified by immutable accounts and passwords, or a thoroughly managed blockchain system that helps remove many aspects of intermediary services."
According to the website, 1/4 of the Ethernet Fong connection points run on the AWS server.
Earlier this week, Blockworks quoted unnamed sources as saying that Amazon was preparing an irreplaceable dynamic password (NFT) sales market. Chinese Internet giants such as Ant Financial and Tencent have already launched their own NFT sales markets, although Tencent has officially suspended its operations for only a year.
According to TechCrunch, AWS is the world's largest provider of cloud infrastructure services as of the third quarter of 2022, with a 34% global market share.
