A new survey by CoinWire conducted a survey of more than 10000 investors in the field of data encryption in December 2022. The survey found that consumers' sentiment towards the metauniverse made data actually harmful to every field of social life. 69% of respondents put their chips on the yuan universe to reconstruct social development habits in a new way of leisure and entertainment, while 65% believed in the yuan universe's way of making friends.

The confidence in how this will affect the financial industry and business service education is also very high, 61.2%, 49.6% and 45% respectively. In the past five years, Microsoft has won 158 patents related to the universe, surpassing large technology companies such as Meta, Tencent and Epic Games.

With the continuous development of the metauniverse, it will probably endanger social development in a more accurate form. For example, metacosmic effects including touch and olfactory nerves recently appeared at the electronic exhibition in 2023.

In addition, the survey emphasized that more than half (53%) of the respondents who invested in the metauniverse had some kind of digital currency.

According to the survey, the United States ranked first in the innovation of the metauniverse. However, as shown above, China and India use the most positive attitude towards the daily metauniverse, 78% and 75% respectively.

The report further shows that although nearly 90% of respondents have heard the word "Web3", 52% of respondents still have some uncertainty about the specific meaning of the word "Web3"

In line with many investors' uncertainty, more than 60% of them indicated that they wanted to implement more control over this field. Last year, regulatory authorities around the world gradually adopted and discussed new industry regulations.

Even so, the field of Web3, such as the metauniverse, is still the priority of many countries. Recently, the South Korean Congress has offered the pilot area of the metauniverse free of charge to the society.
